Texas Tech police calls for July 27-30

Friday

8:25 a.m. - Texas Tech police investigated a traffic accident without injuries near 200 North Quaker Ave. Several cotton plants and irrigation pipes were damaged.

3:36 p.m. - A water hose connector was damaged in the Z4R parking lots.

3:45 p.m. - A vehicle?s windshield was damaged in the A1 parking lot of the Health Sciences Center.

6:09 p.m. - Gasoline was taken from a parked vehicle in the A2 parking lot of the Health Sciences Center.

10:47 p.m. - A non-student was arrested for evading arrest or detention and possession of a prohibited weapon following a traffic stop on the 3300 block of 4th Street and released pending the filing of charges for possession of more than one valid driver?s license.

Saturday

3:31 a.m. - A student was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawfully carrying a weapon following a traffic stop on the 400 block of University Avenue and transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

Sunday

2:22 a.m. - A non-student was arrested for two outstanding Lubbock County Sheriff?s Department warrants following a traffic stop on the 100 block of University Avenue and then transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

3:11 a.m. - A non-student was arrested for an outstanding Lubbock County Sheriff?s Department warrant following a traffic stop on the 2000 block of University Avenue and transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

6:52 a.m. - A non-student was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to identify following a traffic stop on the 3700 block of 4th Street and transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

11:44 p.m. - A non-student was arrested for an outstanding Lubbock County Sheriff?s Department warrant following a traffic stop on the 3100 block of 18th Street and transported to the Lubbock County Jail.

Monday

2:37 a.m. - A non-student was issued a Lubbock County citation for driving under the influence of alcohol by a minor following a traffic stop on the 1800 block of University Avenue and then released to a responsible person.
